What a strange vintage we are. Constantly needing to photograph each thing, each moment. What other species demands to self archive everything? The same information, experiences, places visually captured over and over again. What do we expect to learn from it; from taking a picture of it all?

Christmas of 15
Decent breath, no weights, with a side of no visibility. Pair of new fins that sat dry for 2-years in a Omaha closet. Down into the the white specked greenish blue depths. No bottom, just a deeper dark green, till the asteroid belt mixes with a sandy bottom.
Self contained spaceship alone below, with friends above. Middle of the channel. Deep, but easy with these new fins. Warm tropical water in a recovering ecosystem.
Good to be back at the bottom, but time to return to the top.
