What a strange vintage we are. Constantly needing to photograph each thing, each moment. What other species demands to self archive everything? The same information, experiences, places visually captured over and over again. What do we expect to learn from it; from taking a picture of it all?

Backwards Compatibility
Having spend a last few days drifting through the old world palaces to man and God, I can say most have fared entry into the digital era as well as this palace lighting.
Yes, you can electrify it, but no you can't keep essence of the art intact; conspicuous consumption rarely escapes times sandpaper.
Rather it removes each thin layer of luxury, power, and refinement over the eons. Till only it's farce remains.

You're a legend
Just through the jungle, not even 100 meters from here is a waterfall. No, not that one. Yes, that is also a waterfall, but not the waterfall we're here to pontificate about today.
Go ahead, zoom in, just trees. But, I promise you the waterfall is there.
Story Problem
Does the cost of crossing100 meters equal or exceed the value of seeing the waterfall?
Vocabulary
Cost ≠ Price
Value ≠ Worth
Cost = Physical
Price = Dollar
Value = Emotional
Worth = Monetary
For this thought experiment we cannot dilute the monetary with the emotional and vice versa. Look at that picture again. There is not a monetary cost to walk that last 100 meters. The walk is free of dollars and cents.
Therefore we are left with a single question: physical cost for emotional value?
Maybe not, maybe, curiosity.
