Bat Cave

Over time algae growth on these stalactites makes them grow towards sunlight, because calcium carbonate is deposited on top of the algae growth. The phenomenon is known as phytokarst and refers to stalactites that are strongly curved outwards due to the heavy fern and or moss growth on their sunlit sides.
