What a strange vintage we are. Constantly needing to photograph each thing, each moment. What other species demands to self archive everything? The same information, experiences, places visually captured over and over again. What do we expect to learn from it; from taking a picture of it all? No Coining - All Rights Reserved

Sine qua non

The temptation was to capture share everything everywhere, so you could see it all at once. Then the lens ceased to share the capture. So I moved back to words.

Thick blacktip 1.5 meters or so. Eye to eye and probably pregnant. In less than a meter of reef water. I was lower she was higher on the reef.

Nope she's not in that video, nor is the scuba class I dropped in upside down on at 15 meters in the middle of the pea soup. Wait. Lets frame it. About 500 meters from shore with 1 meter of visibility to be generous. Nothing but bubbles to know where they sat on the bottom and a blind free dive down to the bottom to see.

The current carries bubbles, so took 3 dives to find them. A scuba instructor who knows me and new divers likely to jump at me; SHARK? no joe.

Back at the surface, accidental 4AM view of the Perseid meteor shower. And just like that. The best parts of last weekend never recorded only written.
